About Me

After a long career as a graphic design art director in Toronto, I am coming back to fine art as a pursuit of passion. Still inspired by the works of my one time teacher and BC artist, Toni Onley, I am exploring landscape, portraiture, and drawing in a variety of media. My passion for art has spanned a lifetime of studying art history, reading about artists, and haunting galleries both domestic and foreign. 

I have been fortunate to attend exhibitions of some of the greatest artists who ever lived. Seeing works by Munch, Gauguin, Picasso, Van Gogh, Francis Bacon and scores of others both classical and modern has been sublime.

Creating works of art is an activity that transcends time and worldly constraints. There is nothing I would rather be doing than sitting at my easel adding marks to paper or paint to a canvas.
