Nature and Portrait Artist

These drawings represent a series executed over the past five years using limited materials. The work has been particularly satisfying going back to the very fundamental roots of art - making marks on paper. Without the distraction of backgrounds or colour, these simple drawings have given me a better understanding of form, light and shadow, volume, and texture.
