Solo Exhibition: "Drawing Without an Eraser" at the Port Coquitlam Community Centre wrapped up
January 8. Thanks to the staff at the Centre for help setting up and to all those who took the time
to see the show. I appreciate all the support from friends and family who made it possible.
And many thanks to all those who purchased works.
From 2020 to 2025, I worked on a series of ink drawings of birds, most of which were chosen as a subject based on their "unfortunate" look. Birds are fascinating foremost for the fact that they can fly and secondly for the vast variety of size, colour, habits, and physical characteristics. Each one is uniquely adapted to survival often in harsh environments. I find their uniqueness beautiful for all the warts and waddles and spiky feathers, they are all amazing.
